Our Team

Valerio Pisoni has been working as an RTT since 2006 at Fondazione IRCCS San Gerardo dei Tintori di Monza (Italy).

He has been an adjunct lecturer for the Radiographer Degree Course at the University of Milan Bicocca since 2020, and he earned a master’s degree in management and leadership of healthcare professions and a master's in advanced skills in radiotherapy at Humanitas University in Milan.

He is responsible for quality assurance in his department and serves as an internal auditor for the hospital's healthcare quality system.

During his career, he has supervised many students on their theses and practical activities, as well as laboratory and research studies.

He is currently a member of the board of directors of the Italian Association of Radiation Therapy and Medical Physics Technologists (AITRO and a Young Delegate for AITRO at ESTRO National Societies.

He attended the ESTRO School Course “Advanced Skills in Modern Radiotherapy”, and many italian and european congresses of the last five years, both as a participant and as a presenter.

His main interests are research and student education.
